Undergraduate
The audition requirements at the undergraduate level are for all strings:
- One three octave scale in any key.
- One etude by memory.
- One movement of a solo work by Bach or a movement from a concerto from the standard repertoire.
All works must be memorized.
Graduate
- Three octave scales and arpeggios in all keys.
- An etude or caprice by memory.
- Two contrasting movements from a standard concerto or two contrasting movements from a solo work by Bach. Applicant may also choose to play one movement from an unaccompanied work by Bach and a movement from a concerto.
All works must be memorized.
